Barlows UK Ltd was instructed as the principal MEP contractor to carry out the full Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing installation for the landmark new-build Team GB Centre for Taekwondo (also known as the National Taekwondo Centre).

Located at the Ten Acres Sports Complex in Newton Heath, Manchester, this state-of-the-art facility serves as the official national performance headquarters for British Taekwondo and Team GB athletes. The centre provides world-class training environments for Olympic and Paralympic-standard competitors, including elite training halls, strength and conditioning areas, sports science facilities, administration offices, and spectator/visitor spaces.

The project formed part of a significant investment in British combat sports infrastructure, delivering a high-performance environment designed to support medal-winning success on the international stage.
